“What happened with Legos, they used to be simple. Oh come on, I know you know what I’m talking about, Legos were simple. Something happened out here while I was inside. Harry Potter Legos, Star Wars Legos, complicated kits, tiny little blocks. I mean I’m not saying its bad I just wanna know what happened.”—Professor Marshall Kane (via eyegor)
“Friends don’t do what you did to us. Did the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants poison each other’s food so they were too sick to leave? NO! I’ve never seen it, but I’m pretty sure THEY MAILED EACH OTHER PANTS!”—Jeff Winger, Community (via justsupergood)
I always liked this song. I don’t understand why this one hasn’t gotten more notes. Older Ribeiro stuff needs respect too!
About that… that’s because those posts were written and published before I joined Tumblr. Since Tumblr doesn’t allow you to import posts, there’s a ton of music I wrote that most Tumblr people have not heard, but is clearly archived. On the first day I joined Tumblr, I had no followers, and I had to upload 60 songs to Tumblr before I jumped from Wordpress to Tumblr, and had a smooth transition without having an incomplete website. Also, I have about 300 text posts which have not been imported into Tumblr, and I’m not sure I’ll never import them because it’s incredibly time-consuming (although it would be great to have my entire archive under one site).
True story: In December 2010, Tumblr was down for a full day, literally the same exact day that I wanted to start using it. Then I thought “Wow, if I was on Tumblr now, then no one would have been able to hear my music”. So I decided against it and didn’t sign up for it until re-trying it again in March of this year. FWIW, in hindsight it was worth the jump, but damn was it scary, time consuming, and a long time to make a decision whether I should do it or not.
